Note that each flagpole has a light illuminating the other flagpole's flag. The flags are in good condition. The equipment enclosure is the right in the photo (look for the GPS antenna). Points to Sprint for this design, save for the visible GPS antenna which should have been hidden.

Camo, almost matching... (1 of 2)595 viewsThis Cingular site is a good example of the need to carefully plan how much of an existing wall will be replaced with a fiberglass camo panel. In this case, the cut out portion of the wall, now replaced with a painted/textured RF transparent panel, is clearly visible. A better approach would have been for the carrier to cut from wood panel edge to panel edge so that the difference, if visible, would have been more uniform.

This result serves as a sound basis to continue to upgrade the camouflage techniques that are applied to projects of this type. Optimally, Sprint's BTS cabinet would not be visible, and the RF transparent panels would be incorporated into a rooftop treatment that doesn't call attention to itself.
