It Radiates Near Radiation508 viewsThis is a monopole owned by American Tower located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. They work on things there that are better left unspoken (absent a suitable security clearance, that it).

Tower Towers Over the Santa Fe Plaza398 viewsTowering over the historic Santa Fe Plaza (and just about everything else in the area), this awful pole is about as out of place as a tower can be. So sad. Thanks to Alltel for contributing to the spoiling of the historic Santa Fe Plaza area.

Battle of the Mono's...824 viewsIn this case, a sickly monopine and a basic monopole, both located at the top of a hill next to a water tank. Not much can be said for the monopole, but the poor branch coverage of the monopine sure sticks out like a sore thumb. Successful monopines have great branch coverage, antenna covers, and bark cladding all the way up the tree (unlike this example).2 comments

A Sad Little Cell Palm1051 viewsIt is a cell pine? It is a monopole with a few palms attached? It is an example of how to 'sell' the community on a cell pine without delivering? You decide.

No texture on the pole; no real attempt to provide adequate palm cover.

Spotted off the I405 near Inglewood Blvd. in the Southbay area of Los Angeles.
